Zeke is an Assistant Adjunct Professor and Faculty Fellow in the UCLA Department of Spanish and Portuguese. He holds a Ph.D. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from UCLA. He also has an M.A. in Spanish from UCLA and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Hispanic Studies and History from the University of Pennsylvania.
Zeke's research centers on 20th and 21st-century Latin American literature and film. His interests include art cinema, film festivals, cosmopolitanism, the novella, and transnational exchange.
In addition to his academic work, Zeke is an avid hiker and skier.
